Activities:
IFSSO seek to achieve its goals in various ways. On the broader and general level, it runs a secretarial office with takes care of the communication with its member organisations and with a large number of other national and regional social science organisations, and with the main international organisations in the social sciences. IFSSO has particularly close links with UNESCO and cooperates with this organisation whenever possible. On the more specific and concrete level, IFSSO performs activities in four main fields: in programme of publications, in its exchange programme, in international meetings and in its Prize for Originality in the Social Sciences.
